Job summary

isolved seeks a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to shape the analytics platform, data models, and decision systems. You will own semantic modeling with dbt, enforce data quality, and partner with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to deliver reliable data products.

This hands-on role emphasizes cloud data stacks, AI-ready foundations, and scalable infrastructure, with mentorship across analytics teams. Strong product mindset and stakeholder collaboration are key.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or analytics roles.
• Expert in dbt and modern data transformation pipelines.
• Deep understanding of data modeling techniques (dimensional, star/snowflake, SCD, data vault).
• Proficient in SQL (performance tuning, complex joins, CTEs, window functions).
• Strong working knowledge of cloud data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Familiar with Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and analytics engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of semantic layer and analytics data models.
• Define and enforce best practices in data transformation, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers, and data engineers to align modeling with business use cases.
• Own the lifecycle of metrics and definitions for consistency and trust.
• Drive self-service data capabilities with curated datasets and AI-enabled discovery.
• Provide mentorship to analytics engineers and analysts.
• Bridge analytics and engineering, translating requirements into scalable data infrastructure.
• Contribute to governance initiatives (cataloging, lineage, quality) to increase trust in data products.
• Optimize and tune warehouse performance for cost and scale (Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake).
