Job summary

isolved HCM is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to shape our analytics platform and data models. You will partner with data engineers, analysts, product teams, and AI stakeholders to turn raw data into reliable, governed, and insightful assets.

This role requires hands-on, high-impact work on data modeling, dbt, cloud stacks, and AI-ready foundations. You will lead semantic layer design, enforce data quality, and drive self-service analytics while mentoring others and bridging analytics

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data analytics roles.
• Expert in dbt and modern data transformation pipelines (dbt Cloud or Core).
• Deep understanding of data modeling techniques (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schema, slowly changing dimensions, data vault).
• Proficient in SQL with performance tuning and complex joins.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices in analytics contexts.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating business needs into data models.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of semantic layer and analytics data models using dbt and modern warehouses.
• Define and enforce best practices in data transformation, versioning, testing, and automation of data quality checks.
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers, and data engineers to align modeling with business use cases.
• Own the lifecycle of metrics and definitions, ensuring consistency and trust across the organization.
• Drive self-service data capabilities with curated datasets, intuitive tooling, and AI-assisted discovery where appropriate.
• Provide mentorship to analytics engineers and analysts across teams.
