Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the Corporate Data & Analytics team. You will blend business partnership with analytics delivery to produce scalable, governed data solutions across the organization, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and semantic models.

You will work with stakeholders to define KPIs, design reusable data products, and ensure accuracy, performance, and maintainability across reports, self-service analytics, and AI-enabled experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or Business Analytics.
• Professional experience in analytics engineering, BI, or data engineering.
• Gather requirements and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and ETL/ELT experience.
• Experience with semantic models, DAX, Power BI delivery.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand processes, goals, and reporting needs.
• Lead discovery and requirements sessions; document rules and success metrics.
• Design scalable data products, semantic models, dashboards, and AI-ready assets.
• Develop data pipelines, lakehouses, and semantic layers in Fabric and related tools.
• Enable governed self-service analytics and AI readiness with certified data assets.
