Job summary

athenahealth's Emerging Product Services team is seeking a Senior Associate (Analytics) to operate our ETL processes and transform data from payers, EMRs, and labs into a standardized destination. The role is hybrid out of Belfast, ME and reports to the EPS Data/Analytics Senior Manager.

You will design, develop, and deploy client implementation projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and use AI-assisted tools to speed debugging and documentation, while maintaining rigorous data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience with data integration and relational databases.
• Experience with Atlassian suite and Agile SDLC practices, Snowflake, VS Code, Salesforce.
• SQL programming with Oracle and MS SQL Server, including T-SQL; Java/Python/Perl preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare data including payer claims and clinical data sources.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy client implementation projects; ensure seamless data flow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product solutions for health outcomes.
• Explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze data to explain performance variation and trends.
• Use AI-assisted tools to explore data issues, summarize pipeline behavior, and speed debugging.
