Job summary

athenahealth is seeking an Emerging Product Services Senior Associate (Analytics) to operate and enhance our proprietary ETL processes. You will transform data from diverse sources into standardized formats, enabling scalable analytics for clients.

You will work in a hybrid Belfast, ME-based role, interfacing with Product, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure high-quality data delivery and actionable insights for our clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computing or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience with data integration and relational databases.
• Experience with SQL programming on Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL).
• Proficiency in ETL processes, data pipelines, and production-grade data handling.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Git, and Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy client implementation projects ensuring smooth data flow from source to front-end application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build solutions enabling better health outcomes.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders clearly.
• Monitor data and explain performance trends and variations over time.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to explore data issues and accelerate debugging with human validation.
