athenahealth is seeking a Marketplace Operations Associate in Belfast, ME, with a hybrid work model. You will support billing, invoicing, data analysis, and vendor coordination, using SQL to drive recurring reporting and ad hoc analyses.

You will partner with internal teams to validate data and improve operational processes, reporting, and metrics. Reporting to the Manager, Platform Operations, you will help ensure accuracy, drive efficiency, and leverage BI tools to deliver actionable insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Operations, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in operations, reporting, billing, invoicing, vendor management, or related analyst role.
• Experience using SQL to query, validate, and analyze data.
• Experience with BI tools, dashboards, or reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational, billing, and invoicing data to support reporting and issue resolution.
• Develop SQL queries and data extracts for recurring reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Review contract and partnership information to support billing interpretation and accuracy.
• Manage vendor-related operational activities including tracking requests and coordination with internal partners.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and business metrics using BI tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and improve processes.
• Document recurring issues and reporting logic to support knowledge sharing.
