Job summary

Dow in Illinois is seeking an Associate Analytical Technician to support manufacturing operations through laboratory analyses, sample preparation and data reporting. You will maintain instrumentation, perform routine tests, and communicate results to operators and engineers, while following SOPs and safety protocols.

The role requires basic lab techniques, strong attention to detail and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for US-based position.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Train to perform routine analyses under supervision until proficient.
• Collect samples according to the Sample Plan.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance of analytical systems.
• Evaluate data validity for routine analyses and take appropriate action.
• Monitor analytical systems and escalate issues as needed.
• Document, communicate and archive analytical results and data.
• Follow EH&S and ODMS procedures for work tasks.
• Suggest improvements to lab work processes and tools.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and restock lab inventory.
