Job summary

Dow in Illinois is seeking an Associate Analytical Technician to support manufacturing by performing laboratory analyses, preparing samples, maintaining instruments, and reporting results to production teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will train on routine analyses, handle sample collection, and ensure data quality while complying with EH&S standards. The role requires flexibility for 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in chemistry preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Train to perform routine analyses under supervision.
• Collect samples per the Sample Plan.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance of analytical systems.
• Evaluate data validity and escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor analytical systems and escalate problems.
• Document, communicate and archive results and data.
• Follow EH&S and ODMS procedures for tasks.
• Suggest improvements to lab processes and tools.
• Handle shipping paperwork and lab housekeeping.
