Job summary

Dow is seeking an Associate Analytical Technician in Illinois to support manufacturing operations by conducting laboratory analyses, preparing samples, and maintaining instrumentation. You will report results to production personnel and work under established SOPs and analytical methods.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to rotate 12-hour shifts, and overtime as needed. Preferred candidates have chemistry training and lab experience, plus knowledge of Office, SAP, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour, rotating shifts.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Train to perform routine analyses under supervision.
• Collect samples according to the Sample Plan.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance of analytical systems.
• Evaluate data validity for routine analyses and take appropriate action.
• Monitor analytical systems and escalate problems as needed.
• Document and archive analytical results and data.
• Follow EH&S and ODMS procedures for tasks.
• Suggest improvements to lab processes and tools.
• Handle non-routine requests with team follow-up.
• Perform lab housekeeping and restocking.
