Job summary

Dow is seeking an Associate Analytical Technician for our Kankakee, IL facility. You will support manufacturing operations by conducting laboratory analyses, preparing samples, and maintaining instrumentation. You will report results to operators and engineers, following SOPs and analytical methods.

The role requires strong lab skills, a willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, and the ability to work overtime. Prior chemisty lab experience and SAP/MOC familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Train to perform routine analyses under supervision until proficient.
• Collect samples according to the Sample Plan.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance of analytical systems.
• Evaluate data validity for routine analyses and take corrective action.
• Monitor analytical systems and escalate issues as needed.
• Document, communicate, and archive analytical results.
• Follow EH&S and ODMS procedures for tasks.
• Suggest improvements to lab processes and tools.
• Process shipping paperwork and maintain lab inventory.
