Job summary

Dow is seeking an Associate Analytical Technician in Kankakee, IL. You will support manufacturing by conducting lab analyses, preparing samples, and maintaining instrumentation. You will report results to operators and engineers, following SOPs and established analytical methods.

Role requires basic lab skills, willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, overtime as needed, and US work authorization. Prior chemisty lab experience is preferred, SAP/MS Office skills helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher in chemistry preferred.
• 2+ years lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analyses under supervision until proficient.
• Collect samples per the Sample Plan.
• Maintain analytical systems and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Evaluate data validity and escalate issues as needed.
• Document and archive analytical results.
• Follow EH&S and ODMS procedures.
• Suggest improvements to lab processes and tools.
• Handle shipping paperwork as required.
