Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Scientist 2 - Analytical Development to lead the development and validation of new analytical methods, ensuring robustness and readiness for implementation. You will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) to strengthen portfolio capabilities and address market-driven client needs.

The role demands experience across a range of assay modalities, familiarity with cGMP, and strong collaboration with analysts, study managers, and QA.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in analytical chemistry/chemistry/biology with 3+ years lab experience; Master’s with 5+ years; Bachelor’s with 7+ years.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and validation of new analytical methods.
• Perform hands-on execution and provide technical leadership across modalities (mAbs, gene therapy, ADCs, mRNA, viral vectors).
• Prepare and review protocols, reports, SOPs, and related documents.
• Transfer GMP assays to routine team and train analysts and study managers.
