Job summary
MilliporeSigma is seeking a Scientist 2 - Bioassay Development to lead and validate new bioassay methods, expanding the service portfolio to meet market needs. You will serve as SME in bioassay method development/validation, ensuring robustness and readiness for implementation to strengthen capabilities.
The role requires strong coordination with analysts and study managers, adherence to cGMP, and hands-on leadership across diverse modalities. Excellent scientific communication is essential.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a scientific discipline with 3+ years of lab experience.
- Master’s degree in a scientific discipline with 5+ years of lab experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with 7+ years of lab experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of new immunoassay methods.
- Design, optimize, and troubleshoot bioassays to meet regulatory expectations.
- Perform hands-on execution and technical leadership across modalities (mAbs, cell/gene therapy, ADCs, mRNA, viral vectors).
- Prepare and review protocols, reports, SOPs, and lab records.
