Job summary

Spencer Stuart seeks an Analyst for the Supply Chain and Operations Officer Practice. The role will be based in Chicago, Washington D.C., or New York City and involves collaborating with Associates, Senior Associates, and Consultants to generate research that informs assignment strategy.

Analysts conduct comprehensive research, produce talent maps and pitch decks, and handle ad hoc requests. They build industry knowledge and advance to leadership tracks over time.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be university graduate with a four-year bachelor's degree.
• Spring 2027 graduates are not eligible for this opportunity.
• GPA of 3.4 or higher in any field of study.
• Leadership demonstrated via internships, work, service, athletics, or student orgs.
• Strong research, analysis, and synthesis skills with ability to draw insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-directed, proactive, able to manage competing priorities.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Permanent work authorization for the country you are applying in.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of client industries and market positioning for client-ready documents.
• Stay updated on client engagements and market opportunities and share findings with team.
• Assist in detailed industry talent mapping and track executive movements.
• Participate in project kick-offs and help build search strategies and target lists.
• Develop industry or functional expertise by following trends and leadership changes.
