Job summary

Spencer Stuart is seeking an Analyst for the Industrial Practice, based in Chicago, Washington D.C., or New York City. You will support assignment strategy through research, talent mapping, and development of client-ready materials, partnering with Associates and Consultants to deliver insights for executive searches.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with strong academics, leadership experience, and proficient research and communication skills, prepared to grow into Consultant roles over

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be university graduate with a four-year bachelor's degree.
• Strong academic performance (GPA 3.4+).
• Well-rounded with leadership experience in internships, work, or student organizations.
• Advanced research, analysis, and synthesis skills from incomplete or ambiguous information.
• Strong project management and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of client industry and synthesize for client-ready documents.
• Stay updated on client engagements and market opportunities; share findings with the team.
• Assist in industry talent mapping; research executives and track movements.
• Participate in kick-off meetings to develop search strategy; assist with search tasks.
• Develop industry/functional expertise by staying informed on trends and leaders.
