Job summary

Spencer Stuart is seeking an Analyst for the Industrial Practice to be based in Chicago, Washington D.C., or New York City. You will support the assignment strategy by conducting thorough research, producing talent mappings, target company lists, and pitch decks, and handling ad hoc requests for client-ready documents.

Ideal candidates will have a four-year bachelor’s degree, strong GPA (3.4+), leadership experience, and excellent research, analysis, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor’s degree required.
• Fall 2026 graduates welcome; Spring 2027 graduates not eligible.
• GPA 3.4+ in any field.
• Demonstrated leadership in internships, work, or student groups.
• Strong research, analysis, and synthesis abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed, proactive, able to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of client industries and synthesize findings for client-ready documents.
• Conduct industry research and identify market trends and executive movements.
• Assist in talent mapping, target lists, and research for search strategies.
• Support kick-off meetings and help develop search plans with Associates.
• Cultivate industry knowledge and identify best-in-class leaders for future leadership.
