Job summary

Spencer Stuart is seeking an Analyst for the Industrial Practice, based in Chicago, Washington DC, or New York City. You will support research, build talent mappings, target lists, and client-ready materials while partnering with Associates and Consultants.

This role offers exposure to executive search, opportunities for career progression to Consultant, and a strong emphasis on research, analysis, and communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Recent or soon-to-be university graduate with a four-year bachelor’s degree; Spring 2027 graduates not eligible.
• Strong academic performance (3.4+ GPA).
• Leadership experience in internships, work, community service, athletics, or student organizations.
• Advanced research, analysis, and synthesis skills; ability to develop insights from incomplete information.
• Strong project management and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities; raise concerns early.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s industry and synthesize information for client-ready documents.
• Stay updated on news related to key engagements and market opportunities; share with team.
• Assist in detailed industry talent mapping and track executive movements.
• Participate in kick-off meetings to assist in search strategy development; support Associates with search tasks.
• Develop industry knowledge by staying informed of trends and future leaders.
