Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analyst I in its Risk & Analytics team, joining multiple analytical groups that improve decision-making across customer and merchant lifecycles. You will use SQL and Python to deliver scalable reports, develop data models, and support risk and product decisions while learning consumer lending fundamentals.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in an analytically driven role.
• Degree in Data Science, CS, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with data mining, visualization, and basic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Derive insights to optimize product, risk, or growth strategies.
• Monitor portfolio health and flag risks/anomalies.
• Write SQL/Python to build scalable reporting and support ML/risk models.
