Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer I to join the Effector Power Team in Tucson, AZ. You will design, test, and validate power conversion circuits, contributing from schematic analysis to board-level integration.

You will work with non-isolated and isolated converters, support ECAD layout, and help develop test procedures. A Master’s in EE and experience with power electronics are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field.
• Experience with non-isolated or isolated power converters (buck/boost/buck-boost).
• Proficient with MATLAB or similar tools.
• Experience in analog electronics design (FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters).

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, test, and document power conversion circuits (non-isolated and isolated).
• Develop test procedures, perform data capture, and analyze results to verify requirements.
• Guide ECAD drafters in layout and routing, assist in stackup decisions.
• Support circuit card development from requirements through integration testing.
