Job summary

Lundbeck in Anaheim, CA, seeks a Psychiatry Account Manager to promote our psychiatry portfolio and drive sales through strategic planning and strong clinical knowledge. You will lead account tactics, build relationships, and address payer access while meeting promotional regulatory requirements.

The role requires at least 2 years in pharmaceutical sales, a BA/BS, and the ability to travel up to 40 miles from the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Driving is an essential duty; must have a valid driver's license.
• Meet credentialing requirements for healthcare providers / customer facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead business planning and account leadership to maximize sales performance using data-driven insights.
• Deliver compelling messages, probe needs, overcome objections and secure commitments.
• Build and maintain internal and external relationships aligning with account goals.
• Apply market and therapeutic area knowledge to identify opportunities and prioritize actions.
• Navigate reimbursement dynamics and payer access using Lundbeck resources.
• Adhere to pharmaceutical regulations and Lundbeck policies and FDA guidelines.
