Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager in Escondido, CA. You will lead the promotion of the psychiatry portfolio, execute sales and marketing strategies, and build key relationships with healthcare providers. Travel up to 40% domestically is required as you cover East San Diego and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical/medical sales experience.
• Ability to score highly on disease and product training exams.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Lead promotion of psychiatry portfolio and execute sales/marketing strategies.
• Deliver messages clearly, probe customer needs, and close with action commitments.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Gather market trends and apply therapeutic knowledge to identify opportunities.
• Understand payer dynamics and address access issues.
