Job summary

Round1 in Escondido, CA is seeking an Amusement Supervisor to help lead our brand-new family entertainment facility at North County Mall. If you love video games, bowling, karaoke, and enjoy a lively, guest-focused environment, this role is for you.

You will support the Amusement and/or General Manager in supervising the Arcade Department, manage schedules, train staff, drive sales, ensure policy compliance, and help maintain a fun, safe experience for guests.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years retail management experience.
• Entertainment/hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to manage shifts and staff.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Cash handling, refunds and ticket adjustments experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and be visible on the floor.
• Assist Amusement/General Manager with scheduling and staff assignments.
• Train staff to ensure proper standards are followed.
• Achieve departmental sales goals and provide personal sales support.

We’re looking for a Supervisor to help lead the team at our brand-new family entertainment facility opening soon at North County Mall, Escondido!

The Amusement Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in the supervision and management of the Amusement (Arcade) Department.

Please note you must have a High School Diploma or GED to apply.

Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.

All of management will handle and serve alcohol - as such, you must be at least 21 years or older.

Essential Duties:

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
• Explains game operation or rules to customers, and responds to customer complaints of machine glitch through troubleshooting.

Team Management:

• Assists Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in planning and preparing work schedules, and assignments of employees to specific duties.
• Ensure all store amusement employees are properly trained.

Sales:

• Achieve departmental sales goals.
• Be on the floor to provide personal sales support.

Compliance:

• Conducts tills checks, refunds, credit and ticket adjustments in accordance with the company policy.
• Supervise department employees to ensure they are in compliance with established operational practices and policies.

Operations Management:

• Conducts opening and closing department procedures.
• Control payout ratios of crane operations by remaining highly attentive to pay out numbers and customer volume.
• Assist Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in monitoring store inventory levels on a daily basis.
• Cross trained in other departments for assistance.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment / retail / hospitality industries.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• Required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
