Job summary

Round1 Entertainment Inc in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an Amusement Supervisor to support the Amusement Manager and General Manager in supervising the arcade department, delivering exceptional guest experiences in a high-energy environment.

The role requires 2-3 years retail management, open availability including nights/weekends, and legal age of 21+ due to alcohol service. You will lead staff, manage schedules, training, and help meet sales goals while ensuring compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment/hospitality industry.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.
• Age 21+ due to alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to Amusement staff and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with scheduling and training of employees in the arcade department.
• Help achieve departmental sales goals and provide on-floor sales support.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and cash/till procedures.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and monitor store operations.

The Amusement Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in the supervision and management of the Amusement (Arcade) Department.

All of management will handle and serve alcohol - as such, you must be at least 21 years or older.

Essential Duties

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
• Explains game operation or rules to customers, and responds to customer complaints of machine glitch through troubleshooting.

Team Management

• Assists Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in planning and preparing work schedules, and assignments of employees to specific duties.
• Ensure all store amusement employees are properly trained.

Sales

• Achieve departmental sales goals.
• Be on the floor to provide personal sales support.

Compliance

• Conducts tills checks, refunds, credit and ticket adjustments in accordance with the company policy.
• Supervise department employees to ensure they are in compliance with established operational practices and policies.

Operations Management

• Conducts opening and closing department procedures.
• Control payout ratios of crane operations by remaining highly attentive to pay out numbers and customer volume.
• Assist Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in monitoring store inventory levels on a daily basis.
• Cross trained in other departments for assistance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment / retail / hospitality industries.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• Required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
