Job summary

Round One Entertainment Inc. is seeking a Supervisor to help lead our new Ventura facility. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team, and meeting sales targets in a lively entertainment environment.

You will assist the Amusement and General Managers with scheduling, training, and daily operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. The position requires flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.
• 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment / retail / hospitality industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction by being visible and accessible to customers.
• Assist Amusement Manager and General Manager in planning work schedules and assigning staff.
• Achieve departmental sales goals and provide personal sales support on the floor.
• Conduct tills checks, refunds, and adjustments per company policy; supervise staff to ensure compliance.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and monitor store inventory levels daily.
• Cross-train in other departments for coverage.

We’re looking for a Supervisor to help lead the team at our brand-new family entertainment facility opening soon at Pacific View, Ventura!

Mandatory Requirements

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.

Must be at least 21 years or older as all management will handle and serve alcohol.

Essential Duties

Customer Service

• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
• Explains game operation or rules to customers, and responds to customer complaints of machine glitch through troubleshooting.

Team Management

• Assists Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in planning and preparing work schedules, and assignments of employees to specific duties.
• Ensure all store amusement employees are properly trained.

Sales

• Achieve departmental sales goals.
• Be on the floor to provide personal sales support.

Compliance

• Conducts tills checks, refunds, credit and ticket adjustments in accordance with the company policy.
• Supervise department employees to ensure they are in compliance with established operational practices and policies.

Operations Management

• Conducts opening and closing department procedures.
• Control payout ratios of crane operations by remaining highly attentive to pay out numbers and customer volume.
• Assist Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in monitoring store inventory levels on a daily basis.
• Cross trained in other departments for assistance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment / retail / hospitality industries.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• Required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
