Job summary

EmergencyMD is looking for part-time AmeriCorps STEM Specialists in Provo, Utah, for the 2026-2027 school year. You will be responsible for providing hands-on STEM education at local facilities, with a commitment of 12-16 hours each week. Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• United States citizen or legal permanent resident.
• Preference for candidates with education or work experience related to science, technology, engineering, math, teaching, or education.

Responsibilities

• Lead STEM lessons for youth and track progress.
• Build positive relationships with youth and families.
• Ensure safety during indoor and outdoor activities.

Skills

Experience working with children

Knowledge of youth development

Ability to manage behavior problems

Planning and implementing quality programs

CPR and First Aid Certifications

Education

High school diploma or GED

Tools

Valid State Driver's License
