Job summary

HSBC in the United States is seeking the GTS Americas Head of Implementation to lead end-to-end delivery of complex Open Account and Traditional Trade solutions for Corporate and Institutional Banking clients across the Americas.

The role requires exceptional client-facing leadership, coordination across Technology, Operations, Product, Sales, and Risk, and the ability to align delivery with commercial goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in client-facing implementation or solutions delivery, preferably in financial services.
• Experience leading multi-workstream programmes across regions.
• Strong knowledge of trade and receivables finance and open account solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to translate client requirements into practical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Americas GTS Implementation organisation with clear priorities and delivery standards.
• Provide senior delivery and SME expertise for complex trade implementations.
• Translate client requirements into practical implementation strategies aligned with product capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to drive go-live within timelines.
• Oversee transition from implementation to business-as-usual ownership.
• Define robust implementation plans with scope, milestones, and responsibilities.
• Report progress, risks, and revenue realization to leadership.
• Foster engagement and development across the team across countries and cultures.
