Job summary

EY seeks an Americas Technology Risk Leader to shape the technology and data risk posture across the Americas in alignment with EY's global Information Security strategy.

You will identify, evaluate and mitigate significant technology risks, leading people, process and technical controls to prevent data exfiltration and strengthen control effectiveness, while collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to meet regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Technology Risk Management or a related information security field.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline; equivalent work experience acceptable.
• Proficiency with policy and control frameworks such as ISO and COBIT.
• Strong English writing, presentation, interpersonal and communication capabilities.
• At least 10 years of managerial or senior staff experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead a strategic approach to identifying, evaluating and mitigating technology risks across the Americas area.
• Act as the steward of the organization’s technology risk posture and secure sponsorship, budget and support for remediation.
• Oversee the implementation of controls to prevent data exfiltration across regions and business environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to global standards while accommodating local regulatory requirements.
