Job summary

EY seeks an America’s Technology Risk Leader to shape the technology and data risk posture across the Americas, aligning with EY’s global Information Security strategy. The role navigates complex regulatory expectations and leads the implementation of controls to prevent data exfiltration and strengthen risk management across regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in Technology Risk Management or a related Information Security field.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in policy and control frameworks such as ISO and COBIT.
• Strong English language skills including writing and presentation abilities.
• At least 10 years of experience managing senior or managerial staff in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and mitigate technology risks across the Americas area.
• Serve as the steward of the organization’s technology risk posture with sponsorship and remediation support.
• Lead the implementation of people, process and technical controls to prevent data exfiltration across regions.
• Validate implementations adhere to global standards while accommodating local requirements.
• Oversee risk assessments using TARP methodology and coordinate risk management efforts.
