Job summary

EnerSys, a global leader in stored energy solutions, seeks a Senior Manager, Cost Accounting – Americas. You will lead regional cost/inventory accounting, fixed assets and CapEx, ensuring accurate GAAP reporting and strong internal controls.

This on-site leadership role partners with plant finance, operations, and corporate accounting to improve cost visibility. You will drive standard costing rollout, analyze variances, and guide a regional team toward timely close and audit readiness while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years in cost accounting or manufacturing finance.
• Public company experience with SOX and U.S. GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional cost accounting and inventory accounting activities.
• Oversee standard costing, variances, inventory valuation and close processes.
• Manage month/quarter/year-end close, reconciliations and reporting.
• Ensure SOX compliance and robust internal controls.
• Develop talent and drive process improvements across the Americas.
