Job summary

Landis+Gyr AG is seeking a Regional Controller to lead the Americas and Group region accounting functions, reporting to the VP of Global Accounting Operations. This role ensures accurate financial statements, strong internal controls, and compliant reporting under US GAAP and SEC requirements across USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe.

You will drive month-end close, coordinate internal controls, audits, and cross-functional processes, partnering with Shared Services, FP&A, and Tax to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including public company exposure.
• Leadership experience managing teams across countries and functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP.
• Ensure SEC filing compliance and SOX controls.
• Lead audits and drive corrective actions.
• Manage month-end close, intercompany, and consolidation processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Legal and IT for accurate reporting.
