Job summary

Landis+Gyr in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Regional Controller to lead finance operations across the Americas/Group region. You will own external financial statements, ensure SOX compliance, and partner with global teams to standardize processes and policy across the organization.

You will supervise month-end and year-end closes, drive internal controls, and support audits while guiding accounting staff in applying US GAAP and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with public company or multinational exposure.
• Experience operating under US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements; strong SOX controls.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor accounting staff.
• Proficiency with SAP FI/CO and SAP S4/HANA; advanced Excel and analytics tooling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual legal entity financial statements under US GAAP.
• Ensure SEC filing readiness and adherence to SOX standards.
• Lead full‑cycle accounting: GL, intercompany, fixed assets, leases, taxes.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Tax and Shared Services for close and reporting.
• Drive internal controls, policy consistency, and ERP optimization.
