Job summary

Xplora Search Group seeks a Senior Manager, Cost Accounting – Americas to lead regional cost and inventory accounting, fixed assets, and capital expenditure controls in a global public company setting. This hands-on leadership role guides a regional team and partners with plant finance, operations, supply chain, and corporate accounting.

You will drive standard costing, close processes, GAAP compliance, and SOX controls while improving visibility and accuracy of cost data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive, hands-on cost/manufacturing accounting experience.
• Public company experience with SOX controls and GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting, inventory accounting, fixed asset accounting, and related close activities for the Americas.
• Drive standard costing, product costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Oversee capital expenditures, freight, tariffs, and inventory reserves.
• Ensure SOX compliance, internal controls, and timely financial reporting.
• Collaborate with plant finance, operations, supply chain, corporate accounting, and regional leadership.
