Job summary

PROENERGY, a leading engineering and manufacturing company, seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee close, cost accounting, and financial reporting for manufacturing and project activities. This role reports to the Controller AeroAdvantage & Ops and supports multiple U.S.

locations including Sedalia, MO and Houston, TX. You will drive process improvements, mentor staff, and partner with project managers to ensure accurate cost data, timely closes, and compliant financial reporting across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s/CPA preferred.
15+ years in accounting with managerial experience, manufacturing experience a plus.
Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls experience.
Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and reconciliations.
Oversee inventory costing, project costing, and cost controls for manufacturing.
Manage budget, forecasting, audit support, and management reporting.
Coordinate with project managers and operations for cost analysis and variances.
Develop ERP-driven improvements to close processes and data integrity.
Coach junior staff and ensure timely financial reporting to senior management.
