Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Sr. Manager, Americas Payroll to lead payroll operations across Argentina, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States. You will ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing while scaling processes to support growth.

You’ll collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, People, and external providers, driving efficiency through AI-assisted analysis and risk-aware controls. In-office presence 1–2 times per 6 months is required in the country.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in payroll experience, including leadership across multiple countries
• 5+ years in a payroll leadership role in a global environment
• Experience managing payroll operations across US, Canada, and Latin America
• Experience in Americas payroll compliance, including filings and audits
• Experience building and improving payroll processes, controls, and procedures
• Experience partnering with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Tax, People, Equity and external payroll providers
• Demonstrated experience using AI to improve analysis, reporting, and documentation
• Strong integrity and ownership when handling sensitive payroll data
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Americas payroll operations across Argentina, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and United States
• Partner with Global Payroll & Employment Tax to scale processes for growth
• Oversee payroll compliance, tax withholding, social contributions, year-end reporting, and filings
• Drive payroll process improvements through standardization, automation, and governance
• Build payroll controls and documentation to support accurate financial reporting
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Legal, Tax, People, Total Rewards, Equity and HR Ops
• Support cross-border movements, mobility, and equity-related payroll impacts
• Use AI to accelerate analysis, reporting, and process documentation with verification
