Job summary

BNY is seeking a Director of Payroll Americas in Pittsburgh to lead end-to-end payroll across the U.S., Canada and Latin America. You will manage in-house U.S. multi-state payroll using Oracle Payroll and govern outsourced payroll for Canada and Latin America.

The role requires a senior payroll leader with strong governance, risk management and a drive to modernize payroll through automation and AI while building a capable, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years progressive payroll experience, including leadership of large, multi-state U.S. payroll operations.
• Experience leading cross-border payroll in North America and Latin America is a plus.
• Strong governance and vendor oversight experience in outsourced payroll arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations across the Americas (U.S., Canada, Latin America).
• Govern in-house U.S. multi-state payroll with tax, deductions, year-end processing and compliance.
• Oversee outsourced payroll providers across Canada and Latin America with KPI-driven governance.
