Profound is hiring a Payroll Manager to own payroll for the US, UK, Singapore, and Argentina, with ad hoc oversight of EOR countries. You will run payroll accurately and on time, build controls and automation, and partner with Finance, People, Legal, and Accounting.

You will use AI to streamline processes while knowing when human review is required. This on-site role in NYC or San Francisco demands 5–8+ years of payroll experience, deep tax compliance knowledge, and a track record partnering

Formación

• 5–8+ years of multi-country payroll experience.
• Hands-on US payroll across multiple states and multi-country exposure.
• Experience with EOR/PEO to cover countries without a local entity.
• Deep knowledge of payroll tax and compliance.
• Familiarity with equity compensation mechanics (ISO/NSO, RSUs).

Responsabilidades

• Run end-to-end payroll for US, UK, Singapore, and Argentina, including new hires and terminations.
• Administer deductions, benefits, and 401(k) remittances with providers.
• Manage contractor payments and worker classifications with People and Legal.
• Respond to employee payroll questions while protecting data confidentiality.
• Lead payroll processes during expansion into new countries with audits and controls.
• Build calendars, SOPs, and automation to reduce manual work.
