Job summary

Vertiv, headquartered in Westerville, OH, seeks a Regional Business Specialist for MV Switchgear across the Americas. You will drive commercial execution, growth, and profitability of MV GIS and Metal-Clad gear, aligning with Sales, Finance, Ops, and Product Management to deliver strategic initiatives.

You will analyze pipeline, orders, forecast, and margins, while supporting new product introductions, pricing strategies, and regional market intelligence to maximize opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in product management, business operations, sales, or related technical/commercial role.
• Experience with MV GIS and Metal-Clad Switchgear preferred.
• Knowledge of MV electrical standards (IEEE/ANSI/NEC/UL) preferred.
• Strong business acumen: pricing, margins, forecasting, pipeline, and commercial execution.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial execution, growth, and profitability of MV GIS and Metal-Clad Switchgear in the Americas.
• Support Sales with opportunities, quotations, pricing, and competitive positioning.
• Monitor pricing, profitability, and cost-out initiatives.
• Coordinate with Sales/Ops/Demand Planning to align demand and capacity.
• Support opportunity reviews, pricing approvals, and business cases.
• Collaborate with Engineering to support technically compliant MV solutions.
• Analyze MV market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activity.
• Capture Voice of Customer to shape product priorities and roadmap.
