Job summary

Vertiv MV SWGR Project Manager IEEE GIS leads and executes product lifecycle activities for the Switchgear Product Line in the Americas under the Vertiv NPDI framework. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to create product ideas, drive development, bring products to market and close post-launch activities.

The position partners with Marketing, Sales and Finance to ensure project and commercial success, manages prototypes, and reports progress to the global Director of Product

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience in product engineering, manufacturing or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Vertiv NPDI process for product development and phase out.
• Work with MV SWGR Product Manager to develop new product requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define feature scope, cost and schedule.
• Assist Marketing Communications with literature and promotional material for launches.
• Oversee prototype samples with operations to meet test lab and launch timelines.
• Coordinate with Sales, Pricing and Finance to ensure commercial and project success.
• Report progress to executives and align with the Vertiv Portfolio.
• Load data to Oracle, PD Cloud and configuration systems.
• Work with Advanced Manufacturing Engineers on manufacturability and capital investment.
