Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an Export Control & Sanctions Senior Manager - Americas to lead regional governance and compliance across the Americas from multiple U.S. locations.

You will drive strategic leadership, licensing guidance, and risk-based controls while partnering with Legal, HR, Supply Chain, and Engineering to enable business growth. You will provide executive-level guidance, develop metrics, and oversee complex regulatory requirements across EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10–15 years of progressively responsible experience in export controls, trade compliance, sanctions, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience interpreting and applying EAR, ITAR, OFAC sanctions regulations, and global sanctions frameworks; licensing knowledge.
• Experience managing complex compliance programs in a multinational organization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change across large organizations.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of the Americas Export Control & Sanctions compliance program aligned with global strategy.
• Develop and execute regional compliance strategies balancing risk and business enablement.
• Provide executive briefings, compliance metrics, and risk assessments to senior management.
• Oversee EAR, ITAR, NRC, DOE, DOD, OFAC, and Canadian export controls compliance across the Americas.
• Lead digital transformation; optimize screening tools, workflows, and risk-monitoring platforms.
• Coach and develop team members; mentor future compliance capability.
