Job summary

Sanmina-SCI Systems de México is searching for a Director of U.S. Export Compliance to lead the corporate export compliance program. This role is key to ensuring adherence to ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations, managing a small team of remote compliance analysts.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in U.S. export compliance along with strong data analytic and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in U.S. export compliance for a global manufacturing company.
• Adept in managing a corporate Export Compliance Program.
• Extensive knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations.
• Strong skills in jurisdiction and classification across U.S. Munitions List.

Responsibilities

• Manage the U.S. export compliance program in accordance with ITAR, EAR, and OFAC.
• Develop and implement compliance communication and training plans.
• Interface with plant personnel for export-related activities.
• Act as primary liaison for compliance support with U.S. plant managers.
