Job summary

Bosch USA seeks a Sanctions Compliance Manager to provide authoritative guidance on national sanctions programs and ensure full regulatory compliance. You will lead the Export Control and Sanctions team, developing global standards and collaborating with international colleagues across the organization.

Responsibilities include managing global risk, setting minimum standards for embargoes, monitoring OFAC notices, and shaping re-export control processes with emphasis on U.S. laws.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Global Sanctions Compliance and a Bachelor's Degree, as well as experience with sanctions in the U.S. (OFAC and related).
• 1+ years of proven ability to influence and motivate people
• In-depth knowledge of sanctions restrictions in the U.S.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Continuous learner; willing to stay abreast and enjoys research
• Ability to effectively coordinate activities and collaborate with groups

Responsibilities

• Manage global risk management, derive governance requirements, and develop minimum standards around embargoes/sanctions, SPL screening, geoblocking, red flag circumstances, and related compliance measures.
• Monitor legal developments (e.g., OFAC notices) and changes to sanctions restrictions; assess impact on Bosch Group activities and define appropriate measures.
• Support conceptual design and further development of the re-export control law process with focus on U.S. laws; develop reporting systems.
• Conduct export audits/health checks for sanctions compliance and monitor data analysis for risk indicators.
• Act as a contact person for business units and central departments, and authorities.
