Allianz Technology is seeking an Area Architect for the Americas to own the architecture roadmap, govern cross‑tribe decisions, and collaborate with engineering and business leadership across a large, regulated environment. This executive role sits in a globally distributed EA community and requires strong stakeholder influence, security acumen, and cloud expertise.

Qualifications

8+ years in IT architecture roles, with enterprise-level experience.
Proven track record leading architecture across large, multi-team environments.
Background in insurance/financial services or regulated industries is a strong plus.
Familiarity with agile operating models (SAFe, Spotify model or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Own target architecture and technology roadmap for the Americas area, aligned with enterprise standards.
Govern architecture decisions across tribes/products and ensure non-functional requirements.
Chair or co-chair area design authority meetings and represent Americas in EA governance.
Review and sign off on significant architectural changes with regulatory and security alignment.
Collaborate with data, security, cloud, and integration domains to coordinate initiatives.
