Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist for our Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role supports a fast-paced, multi-specialty environment with focus on aseptic technique, instrument handling, and collaboration with the surgical team.

Responsibilities include preparing supplies, assisting the RN circulator, and ensuring sterility throughout procedures. 24 hours per week, with hours M-F 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program; 2 years OR experience.
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and supplies for surgery.
• Assist RN circulator and manage room turnover.
• Maintain sterile field and monitor instrument sterility.
• Assist in instrument cleaning and terminal sterilization.
• Support department policies and procedures; participate in training.
