Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in North Carolina is seeking a Surgical Technician with surgical technology or nursing training to support operating room activities. The role requires BCLS certification and strong teamwork for patient safety.

The job emphasizes accurate instrument handling, aseptic technique, and proactive communication under RN supervision. This position is full-time and located at 37703 Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital – Surgery Room.

Formación

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Renders care to assigned patients under RN supervision; assists with direct patient care activities.
• Gathers clean and sterile supplies; sets up sterile instrument fields; maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares and stocks Operating Room before and after surgery; ensures instruments and equipment are managed.
• Communicates effectively with the team, co-workers, and patients; demonstrates professional conduct.
• Shows personal responsibility for performance and professional growth.
