Job summary

Synergy Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support our fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment. This full-time role requires completion of a Surgical Technician program, state certification, at least 3 years of experience, and a strong team ethic to ensure patient safety and smooth procedures.

Responsibilities include scrubbing, maintaining sterility, preparing supplies, and assisting the circulating nurse and physicians

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and completion of a Surgical Technician Program.
• State certification as required by the center.
• Minimum 3 years of surgical technologist experience; ambulatory center preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique; teamwork essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical scrub on all procedures and maintain sterile environment.
• Assist circulating nurse and team, gather supplies, and count sponges and instruments.
• Gown and glove surgeons and assistants; ensure accurate physician preference cards.
• Transport equipment for cleaning and reprocessing; maintain patient privacy and safety.
• Attend in-services and communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and patients.
