Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Surgical Technologist for its Ambulatory Surgery Center in Rock Hill, SC. You will support sterile preparation and patient turnover in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

The role requires an accredited surgical technology program graduate, BLS certification, and prior OR experience. This position offers competitive pay and benefits in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program; 2 years OR experience preferred.
• Current NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Assist in obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments.
• Prepare and clean instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Support RN circulator with patient prep and room turnover.
• Monitor sterility and document charges accurately.
• Participate in department trainings and quality improvement.
