Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR certification (BLS) required.
• 1+ year of surgical setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers equipment needed for room set up.
• Assists in case setups with essential equipment and supplies as directed by circulating nurse.
• Transports operative specimens as directed by circulating nurse/charge nurse.
• Maintains sterile technique and safety standards in the OR.
• Supports with room preparation before and between procedures.
