University Health seeks a Director of Ambulatory Surgical Services to lead its Ambulatory Surgery Centers in San Antonio. The role drives operational excellence, financial performance, and quality outcomes across multiple locations.

You will shape strategies, oversee staffing and scheduling, and partner with perioperative leaders to improve patient experience and growth. A relevant master’s degree is preferred and a minimum of five years in healthcare leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, Business, Public Health, or related field is highly preferred.
• Five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare or procedural environments is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of perioperative workflows, regulatory requirements, quality metrics, and financial management is required.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and electronic health record systems is essential.

Responsabilités

• Provide operational, financial, and strategic leadership for Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and throughput in ASC locations.
• Lead business planning, productivity monitoring, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with perioperative nursing, anesthesia, surgeons, and admins to optimize performance.
