Job summary

Hendricks Regional Health seeks a Director of Ambulatory Surgery Physician Practices to provide strategic and operational leadership across its ambulatory surgery initiatives. The role partners with physician medical directors and senior leaders to advance patient access, safety, quality, and sustainable growth while aligning multi-site operations and standardized workflows.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree with executive experience preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience; multi-site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with physician medical directors and Chief Ambulatory Officer to set strategy for ambulatory surgery across Hendricks Regional Health.
• Align practice operations with priorities, resolving cross-departmental barriers.
• Direct all ambulatory surgery practices, coordinating scheduling, access, staffing, and patient experience.
• Translate strategic priorities into operational plans and accountabilities.
• Design and evaluate standardized workflows to improve access, efficiency, and patient experience.
• Develop three-year strategic and annual business plans for ambulatory surgery practices.
• Monitor budgets, analyze financial performance, and recommend productivity improvements.
• Foster partnerships with leaders, physicians, and associates to achieve shared goals.
• Champion Patients First commitment and drive continuous improvement across responsibilities.
• Coordinate care across ORs and endoscopy, aligning resources and readiness.
• Serve on committees and lead cross-functional initiatives.
