Job summary

United Surgical Partners International seeks a Regional Director of Operations to oversee a portfolio of ambulatory surgical centers, accountable for P&L, service levels, quality, safety and compliance. You will work with administrators, boards, physicians, and corporate resources to execute plans and drive growth.

Lead a team of administrators, coach on HR, finance, and partnerships, and ensure centers operate efficiently while meeting strategic objectives and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, business, or related field.
• Minimum ten years in healthcare operations and business development.
• Proven leadership and people-management success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to partner with C-level executives.
• Excel and PowerPoint advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own execution of operational and financial priorities across assigned centers.
• Lead administrators/CEOs, identifying barriers and implementing improvements.
• Drive case volume growth through surgeon engagement and service line development.
• Monitor KPIs, escalate risks, and improve patient safety and financial results.
• Foster partnerships with physicians and participate in Governing Boards.
